LIVE briefing on SEVERE WEATHER potential from southern MS/AL through Carolinas, and some recap

LOW-END TORNADO POTENTIAL this afternoon looks to happen in two different target areas: (1) Quasi-linear convective system or QLCS along cold front in southern MS/AL into southwestern GA with mesovortices embedded within the line or even some embedded supercell structures and (2) isolated supercell potential in central SC into southeast NC with 30 knot southwesterly low-level jet and decent 3 km winds. Both target areas are quite low-end, so I don’t expect a big event, but definitely worth staying tuned to severe weather watches/warnings ready to execute your safety plan regardless.
