MONSTER El Reno, OK tornado on May 31, 2013

Here is video of the monster El Reno, OK tornado on May 31, 2013, touching down insantly as a multiple-vortex wedge with violent suction vortices. We had both Dominators 1-2 in the field this day, and worked the western side of the tornado cyclone executing hook slice after hook slice until we ran into power lines, ripping the hood off the vehicle. This solved the over-heating problem with Dominator 2. At peak wedge, there were several sub-vortices of 1/8 to 1/4 mile in width within the over 2-mile wide circulation.
This footage is edited from the TORNADO CHASERS series, as I’m working on a 20 largest wedges video edit including this tornado, Hallam, NE in 2004; Pipestone, MB June 23, 2007; Tillston, MB, Manchester, etc.
