NEW mothership supercells at northern reach of North American road grid west of Cold Lake, Alberta!

8 minutes of mothership supercell insanity, including the initial northernmost tornado warned storm initiall dominant to the northwest of the eventual “Bonnyville storm”, as the first cell to reach the moisture sufficient for a legitimate tornado threat. As the initial cell moved into stable air, we then dropped down to the Bonnyville storm that was already going nuts, and waited for yet another one to move toward the Cold Lake, Alberta area.

This storm chase was from Saturday, June 9, 2019 and was in the far northern reach of the North American road grid, and was surprisingly incredible storm chasing terrain.
